Great Comeback of the Title Partner UniCredit Bank

04.06.2022 12:15:58 | UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia has returned to the position of title partner after four years and it is a great comeback. "We operate on both the Czech and Slovak markets. From this perspective, we were happy to see the Czech-Slovak federal derby in the semi-finals. Then, the finalists even exceeded our expectations. We are happy to be back even though we left the tournament for some time a few years ago.

We have retained a good relationship which made it possible for us to come back. After the break, we returned this year and we’ll be happy to stay with the tournament in the coming years," said Jakub Dusílek, CEO of the renown banking house.
The UniCredit Czech Open tournament is in a great shape, which was once again proven by its twenty-ninth edition. The organizers were delighted that the local clay courts were dominated by the emerging Czech and Prostėjov generation. "Every tournament director wants to see a home tennis player in the final. We had Czech players on both sides of the court, which is really amazing. The fact that they were both from Prostėjov is incredible," said Petra Černošková, director of the UniCredit Czech Open.
The President of the Czech Tennis Association and the President of Tennis Europe Ivo Kaderka also evaluated the climax of the Prostėjov Challenger in the same spirit. "The association’s philosophy has long remained unchanged in our country. We want to give a chance to our young players. We're trying to open the gate to big tennis for them. This is also one of the goals of the Prostėjov tournament which we have long supported and will continue to do so in the future. It is not only about Dalibor Svrčina and Vitek Kopøiva who have reached the finals. It also includes Martin Krumich, a wild card holder, who made it among the last eight. Juniors were given a chance to try out a qualification at a men's tournament. It’s all of great value for us."
Miroslav Černošek, the head of Prostėjov tennis, was also satisfied. He highlighted the great work of the organizing team headed by his wife Petra and appreciated the approach of the tournament partners. "You can have the best team, which I'm lucky to have, but you can't hold a tournament without money. That’s why I appreciate the support provided by the Czech Tennis Association and its president Ivo Kaderka as well as UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia. They didn't turn their backs on us and their support helped us to make this year's tournament great again," said Černošek.
