"The lineup was incredibly strong, and the quality of the players' performance certainly reflected that. We witnessed some truly excellent tennis. While it’s a pity that no Czech player made it to the final, it only shows how competitive this year's field was. I was particularly pleased with how our young talents performed. Max Mrva reached the quarterfinals against Sebastian Báez and got a clear picture of what he needs to work on in the future. Hynek Bartoň even made it to the semifinals, which is a massive achievement for him," said the tournament director, looking back at the event.
"Everyone was also highly impressed with the quality of the center court surface. It underwent a complete overhaul, and we didn't hear a single complaint," the head of the Prostějov UniCredit Czech Open added with satisfaction.
